Made sure I picked up my Route 66 passport at the Route 66 Historical Village and took some time to check out all they had to offer. The volunteer staff at the Welcome Center was so amazing and knowledgeable, giving us tons of tips on the best places to see along historic Route 66. I can’t wait!
After chatting for a bit, I grabbed my freewheel and explored the oil derrick, which is over 150 feet tall… whoa. Then rolled along both sides of the train parked at the depot. What a fun pit stop to make during our adventures.
