A beautiful day along the Savannah Riverwalk. There are lots of shops to visit and quick places to grab a bite to eat, but most importantly the best views of the Savannah River.
Some accessibility tips for those wanting to make a visit. The Riverwalk itself is pretty accessible, as long as you’re able to park in one of the lots along the water. Not every access point had a ramp though, so we had to roll past a few with stairs first. However, it was easy to stay on the sidewalk until we found a ramp down to the brick walkway that runs along the water. If you don’t have luck finding a parking spot down on the river level, there is an outdoor elevator, located between the Hyatt and City Hall, that will take you down to River Street from Bay Street up above. Along Bay Street, there are lots of parking options, from small lots to street parking.
