Brunch in a garage? Yes! The Daily Ration was once a gas service station. On days with nice weather, they roll up the garage doors and the inside flows smoothly into the massive patio where the gas pumps once stood. Epic, huh?
Located in Chattanooga’s North Side community, this restaurant has built a solid reputation for freshly prepared breakfast and lunch, with brunch served all week long! They have menus at the counter where you place your order, and then go select your table. They will your bring your meal out to you. We have tried their avocado toast, beignets, breakfast plate, southern benedict, pastries, and pancakes… everything has been wonderful!
This is a wheelchair-friendly space; from the dining room, to the spacious patio, to the restrooms, to the parking. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Do be careful of one small thing, the door to the patio has a small step, so don’t open it and roll out that way. You can access the patio by the roll-up garage doors if they are open or by rolling back out the entrance and using the patio gate on your right. The patio is dog-friendly, and they even provide water bowls. So you have no excuse to not indulge in their brunch while in Chattanooga.
