What a perfect day to roll the Walnut Street Bridge in Chattanooga. This bridge was built in 1891 and is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world. Running over 2000 feet, this bridge is at the heart of downtown Chattanooga. Whoa!
The bridge was easy for me to access and roll along. We parked along the street on the northern side of the river, and then explored some of the nearby stores before venturing across the water. The views were incredible, and this bridge is a social gathering place for Chattanooga. Every day the bridge is enjoyed by families, fitness fans, and pet owners… you never know who you’ll see!
