Some days you get lucky and have an entire museum almost entirely to yourself. Exploring the Savannah History Museum was a blast for a museum-loving girl like me. They say most people spend an hour here… but if you’re anything like me you will want more time. I made it through the exhibits, which detail early life in Savannah, the battle of Savannah, a special Girl Scout exhibit, and displays about native wildlife in about 3 hours.
The museum was easily wheelchair accessible, with a loud but reliable, lift to the special exhibit that is otherwise up a few steps.
