Two words for you guys. Bacon. Flight. Yes, that’s right. At Bluegrass Grill in Chattanooga, you can get a flight of bacon, which features perfectly cooked and crispy strips of 4 types of bacon. The mix included a strawberry glazed and another that was sprinkled with parmesan cheese! So good, but of course, our delicious breakfast didn’t stop there.
I ordered the biscuits and gravy topped with sausage. You can tell from the photo that it was love at first bite! These biscuits won Best in Tennessee in 2017, and I can see why! They were so fluffy and came topped with the perfect amount of gravy. Speaking of fluffy, we were blown away by the giant, warm, and gooey cinnamon roll that we were treated to. Honestly, I don’t usually eat more than a couple of bites of cinnamon rolls, but this was easily the best I’ve ever tried, so we made sure to pack up the leftovers for a treat back at our Airbnb later. We were impressed with their entire menu, which included gluten-free, vegan, and even keto baked goods! Their salmon frittata and quiche of the day did not disappoint.
But most importantly, the staff is all over-the-top amazing, and welcoming. Bluegrass Grill is a family-run business, rooted in giving back to the community. They welcomed us like locals and treated us so well. For dine-in options, they are totally wheelchair friendly. We also enjoyed their food to-go one morning while working with a film crew (more on that later!) and everything came packed up safely and just as delicious as when we ate at the restaurant. So if you’re looking for a great meal and a warm welcome, make sure to check them out when you’re in Chattanooga.
